1937 Haunted Beijing: what remainsAdd to Lightbox Download
China, Beijing. The snack street as it looks today.
Wangfujing snack street: off Morrison Street (Wangfujing) and just behind the Peking Hotel. Nearby there was the once well known Hotel de la Paix, that, by the 1930s, housed mostly stateless White Russians and Jewish refugees with nowhere else to go. The snack street was part of that neighborhood.
