China, Beijing. The Peking Union Medical College was founded by religious and missionary groups with the Chinese government in 1906 but, from 1915, was largely funded by the Rockefeller Foundation.
Peking Union Medical College: Walking through the hutongs behind Morrison street (today Wangfujing) you arrive at Peking Union medical college. At that time it was the most advanced centre of medicine in the capital. It was here that Pamela's autopsy was conducted.
