You must pay 68 Yuan to see the two old women. They are the survivors of the famous Red Detachment of Women, a combat unit of 100 women to fight against despotic landlords and for equal rights between men and women. Their story is very popular among chinese, it was the subject  of a famous 1960 chinese movie and the ballet 'The Red Detachment of Women', adapted from their story has been staged thousand of times. Today you can see two of them in The Memorial Park for the Red Women Army, located in Boao, a tiny coastal town in China's tropical island of Hainan.
